Nikon D3 and D300 In 'D2X mode'

Nikon D3 and D300 in 'D2X mode'
For many who have wanted to have D2X similarity in their new D3 or D300, Nikon has made this possible with its new 'Picture Controls' aiming to emulate the color reproduction of the D2X(s) on the new D3 and D300.

Users can set their new D3 or D300 DSLR to have the original colour modes I to III as in the D2X in their D3 or D300.

I received my D300 last week and it has effectively turned my D2x into a very expensive paper weight. I'm not sure why anyone would want to use the D2x color modes after they have viewed the astonishingly accurate color of the D300. The camera is wonderful. Nikon's best effort in years.
